| garthgull | The 2-1 defeat at Birmingham was, as KK put it, an unlucky result. Where doth the blame lye? Methinks that KK has to take the blame. He has been a good manager for city and in the past he has braught stability to Newcastle and Fullham. His preseason transfers had many of us hoping for brighter times and maybe some success in europe. But, look at us now, Not a win in ten games and a drubbing at Liverpool to come. If the result at liverpool does not go our way it may be time for KK to consider leaving! Yes, he may turn things arround and I shall eat my words gladly![:D] But if we loose again, surley we can not keep laying the blame on bad luck?? [?] |
| Kai | Some truth in that. I have been feeling that KK is struggling, I think he tries too much to be the players friend and not their boss. He needs to start acting more like the asshole manager that gets results and stop pulling on a training shirt and have a kick about with the players. |
| mugshot | Yes, the line has gotten blurred and the players will take advantage of that then when the whole thing falls on it's arse they will shrug and say "not my fault". Better a dictatorship than a democracy. |
| invisiblue | I'd like to see Kevin make some changes in the coaching staff. Cox and Fazackerly have had their go and they aren't up to it, they're the ones who are working with the players every day on set pieces and defending and the like. When was the last time we took a corner and everyone looked like they knew what they were meant to be doing? As for the fitness coach he should never have been taken on in the first place, I was under the impression he'd left earlier in the season but he doesn't seem to have done. |
| Kai | Coaching Issues, Management Issues, Player Issues....more problems than solutions. |
| mugshot | Discipline. How's that for a solution? |
| colin333 | I agree he needs to change the backroom staff,i find it hard to belive Phycho has not come to the fore ,he is looking for a managers job.(not citys at the moment. city since 67 |
| Matt | stick with a squad. Players need games. With all the new signings, they need time to become a team. When it's 11 individuals, you lose to the likes of Leicester and wolves, don't you? Matt Flower |
| Kai | Then the changes should not have been that drastic then, if KK had the discipline and correct attitude, they would have bonded as a team as they complained about him being such a hardarse in the locker room after training. |
