| mancityheel | well, I'm going to assume Leeds are going to beat Everton Tuesday b/c it seems like every other result is going against us. If that is the case that would leave 4 teams on 34 points with 5 games to play...but Portsmouth has a game in hand (6 games to go). On the other hand, 2 of those games are v. United and Arsenal (albeit at home). All City have to do is avoid finishing 4th in this mini-league last 5 games. A tie for 3rd would be sufficient due to our goal differential. Portsmouth and Leeds have to play each other which also helps quite a bit. Blackburn still have to play United as well (at home). Leeds must play Arsenal. We have the easiest schedule on paper. So...it's still all in our hands. But...if we don't beat Southampton Saturday that may no longer be the case. Not draw, win!!! |

| Kai | Which only made up in part what we paid for Fowler, and still they have both proven expensive. Looked almost like Fowler was coming good for a while and now he is back to the same old, same old. In all honesty, where is the answer upfront? Anelka is class as much as we bag him, not a person here would think any less, but he cannot do it alone. Fowler either isn't fit enough or is hungover, Macken aint good enough for this division and Wanchope get injured if we wheel him out for two games in a row. I think the answer is therefore, Vuoso. Haven't seen him play, haven't heard an ounce of squat about him. But I know we paid a f*ckin fortune for him. Let's cut the bagstrings and let him out. |
