finally! Keegan looking to strengthen defense

It sounds like the club do not or cannot pay a substantial transfer free but that wages are no object. If wages really are no object, here's a crazy idea--Desailly from Chelsea--I know he has 1.5 years left on contract but he's basically a squad player now. maybe he could be reasonably had. well, not bloody likely, just a thought.
Jonny_Boy	I'm not sure who we'll get. Boumsong would have been nice - god knows why he's off to Rangers in the summer. Anyway, I don't know any top class defenders that we could get now for nothing. I reckon if anyone decent comes in it'll be in the summer. Of course, that won't help much if we're in the first division.
