Most of the grotty pubs have a rip-off membership, so so far i haven't bothered. Will probably drink in town b4 getting a bus to the ground on Sunday. |

| steveo | Summerbees after the game is ok, big screen in upstairs bar. Have been drinking in Manchester before games, Waldorf and Fringe bar, just to name a couple. John, how do you get to this 'out of the blue' pub? Sounds good. Read in the papers that Ashburys station is not used for match days. |
| johnamc1 | judging from the ques ashburys station has been used every match day so far so that is one option. it is located on the corner of textile street and gorton lane, as you come down the steps from ashburys station cross over the road(pottery lane ) and go right, there is a path that takes you straight to it.you cant miss itit has a huge banner on the end of the building saying out of the blue. we come in from the stockport side and get the 203 buss from stockport which drops us on hyde road near the bingo hall 5 mins walk down pottery lane going towards the stadium and you are there. the other way we get there is a bit of a cheat, my mates daughter drops us off there, we walk from there to the game and then back again.
