| npt | I can claim to personally receiving the quote of the season. During the pre-match "parade of legends" (no Gerry Creaney there , strange!!), I asked Mike Doyle to sign my programme and borrowed one of those small red free ladbrooke pens from a steward. MD was having problems getting the pen to work and his signature to stick to the surface when he looked at me with disgust and said "effin red pen what do you expect , effin red pen" and walked off giving me a stare he had previously reserved only for the rags. He still signed it though and he is still a legend. Once a Blue , always a Blue! npt. City because it's right and moral. |
