| mancityheel | I just finished watching the USA-Dutch friendly from Amsterdam (I live in Boston, MA)--Reyna got fouled a bunch of times in the game and also took a ball right off the head at high velocity. thanks God he finally got subbed in the 75th minute but they said he had a left ankle sprain. It didn't look bad and he looked fine on the sideline, so hopefully no problem for Saturday. In the game, Reyna did a good job holding his own against Edgar Davids. Netherlands won the game 1-0. Ruud the cheat got yellow carded for handballing the ball into the net off a corner. ha ha. City should take a hard look at signing the American DeMarcus Beasley. He came on the last 30 minutes of the game and ran riot against the Dutch, creating about 3 chances single-handedl. He is known to want a move to Europe. very pacey, good ball control skills, has savvy. natural left-footer. Put him on the left and SWP on the right and you'd really have something. |
