Fowler is rubbish!
kippaxiteSorry but he is. Wanchope and Anelka are the future. Unfortunately the day Fowler leaves is also prob the day Keegan does!
boxheadim begining to think that myself, some friends of mine down the other end of the m62 seem to think he shot his bolt a long time ago, on and off the field. i hope not, u never know. ps hows anelka and wanchope linking up? nc
hhf8Finally sum more ppl thinkin fowlers just collecting his cheque,He has made more money in the last few years than in the rest of his career and he has been playin his worst football of it,have to say i've been impressed with wanchope in the preseason
mcfcnorthstand20022002I say play Fowler in first 4 games if no improvment put him in reserves for a while or until match fit at least but give him a chance at start of season all get behind him and the boy will come good just watch him go this season [8] blue moon you saw me standing alone without a dream in my heart without a love of my own blue moon blueeeeee mooooooooooon
JontydogI reckon he will come good given time. He is well short of being fit and I reckon his sharpness and fitness will come back once he scores a couple his confidence will come back. He set up Sun Jihais goal last night. The only problem I have with Wanchope is he is more injury prone than Fowler was at Leeds. Plus you can always guarantee if City sold him on he would score loads for another team :)
mugshotFuk I was fairly on the soap box there!!
johnamc1great soap box but i have a feeling the fat boy will come good John (front row block 139)
hhf8he cost us a top six finish last year,I hope he doesn't do it this year,He's costing us a lot money,Ontop of his wage,We Pay £500,000 every 15 games
mugshotHow much time does he need to start producing? He's had most of last season to do the business but it still hasn't happened. This season he is even overweight and unfit.Would it be unresaonable to expect him to be raring to go Day 1 after delivering so little last season. Wanchope for me as the first team favourite by Christmas and he won't be as injury prone because the Elk will be doing all the bursting runs for him. Sorry to say it but a number of contributors to this forum had these reservations at the time of his signing but were ridiculed by others. By Christmas, we will know the truth.
